If you aren't adding a whole burrata to your @razzopizzanapoletana are you even getting a pizza? Last night I had possibly THE BEST pizza of my life, it was 💯 I had the prosciutto crudo with the added burrata which I smeared the gooey bits of over the pizza then ate the casing 😋 My boyfriend had the nduja with added Sicilian sausage and chillis but he chose not to add a burrata so is basically dead to me. How these guys are on all the delivery platforms plus their tiny sit in and keep up with all the orders AND quality is beyond me. It was better than any pizza I had in Naples. When @tobermoryfishco is on the menu, order it. This lovely potato salad was a starter @basilsedinburgh but teamed with some calamari and sharing the kids portion of fish n chips with Lennon and I was a happy gal 🐟 Also, how nice is the interior? I'm not quite sure how we ended up so lucky (must be our good genes and charm obviously) to have such an amazing little boy who has just taken to being a big brother like an absolute pro and seems so much wiser than his 18 months already. He knows his own mind (it's usually filled with dreams of toast), wants to help with everything (Stan gets a lot of extra biscuits) and kisses his brother approximately 728 times a day (unprompted). Maybe should have done this post yesterday, but Lennon we love you on Valentine's day and everyday ❤️

GIFTED / AD ⚡ Happy ❤️ Day @thescotchkitchen sent me a food parcel to create one of the recipes from their inspiration section of their website so last night we had an early Valentine's dinner with @campbellsmeatonline rump steak tequila tacos 🌮 This was the best steak I've ever cooked at home, historically I've not been a big red meat eater and steak in particular hasn't been my bag but this was so tender and the marinade was refreshingly different. I shared the recipe on my stories (or you can Google scotch kitchen inspiration rump steak tequila and will yield the same result) it was easy and I cooked the steaks for slightly less than recommended to get medium rare... GIFTED / INVITED. I don't profess to know the name of every restaurant in Edinburgh, but generally if there's somewhere worth knowing about then you better believe I've got it on my list. How, then, has @ransackedblackoven been completely under my radar considering they've been going for TWO years?! We rocked up, mid snow storm, and boy were we glad we'd braved the weather. We did the only thing you should do here - try a bit of everything because it's delicious. From the light bites menu, we ordered dukkah and honey tear and share bread, baba ghanoush, tamarind and date dip, fatteh (sourdough nachos) with labneh and chicken, loaded herb roasties, lamb koftas, molasses braised pork belly and jackfruit "wings". Every mouthful, every morsel, was perfect. It's not often I say that. My friend and I both brought our toddlers and they enjoyed it all as much as we did. The only thing I wouldn't order again was the tamarind dip as it was too sweet for my personal liking but I genuinely loved everything. Lennon did too, so much so that he burst into tears when the waitress took his plate away and I shared his sentiments - it was one of those meals that you just didn't want to end. I'm so pleased I now know about this place as you can bet your bottom dollar I'll be back. I bet all the students are like "duh we know about this place" (do kids still say duh?
