@cafe_tartine bringing the mussel goods 🙌🏼 We went here for an impromptu dinner with friends a few weeks ago and I forgot to post this. This was the mussel special - Mussel Pil Pil and it was DELICIOUS. The tangy sauce had a little kick to it and they forgot to give us spoons so we were all heathens drinking from the pot because it was *that good* Served with some french fries (there could have been more of these or maybe some thicker cut chips to soak up all the delightful sauce). I'm sure many of you have seen by now that the first SCRAN event at Dalkeith Country Park is being blasted online following everyone and their aunt (and their dogs) turning up. Whilst the event could have been managed a bit better by both @caimevents and @dalkeith_country_park there was no way they could have anticipated that many people showing up. We didn't actually queue to get a parking space or for very long to get into the event space but the wait for food was just under an hour. In the grand scheme of things, I was more pissed off at having to pay three quid to get into the Fort Douglas play area with a 9 month old baby who sat on a swing for two minutes. The vendors there were all good choices - we went for @shantytownbarbeque and @lutisartisanfood baos.
