@goustocooking box meal 3/4 - orzo with meatballs and courgette 🍽️ I feel like it would actually be better just as a vegetarian dish - without the meatballs. The tomato sauce had enough depth, when you added the parmesan cheese, to be fulfilling enough as it was. Stick a garlic bread on the side and you have a winner. Will make the orzo sauce myself again for sure. Have you tried a Gousto box? What are the must-try dishes?? @goustocooking chipotle burgers with crispy potatoes, chilli nacho cheese and pico de gallo 🍔 I basically asked for food as new baby gifts and a Gousto box was the first to arrive - all the ingredients and recipe cards for four meals thereby removing the need to 1) think about what to eat and 2) go to the shops 🙌🏼 I'd highly recommend it as a new parent gift (especially if they have more than one kid) if you're not sure what to get someone. This was delicious and the recipe card was pretty easy to follow. The recipe cards can then be kept for future reference and I'd definitely make these again! Did you know, as much as I talk about Brighton as being "home" that I'm actually from the Borders? Brighton is my heart home, Lauder is my "right home" and actually Lauder is quite the little culinary hotspot with @firebrickbrasserie for affordable fine dining, @thespottydoglauder for cracking coffee and a mean scotch egg, @flatcatgallerylauder for cake and @carfraemill for honest to goodness bistro cooking and a warm welcome. That's where we went for lunch the other day, food was delicious, the kids play areas in Jo's Kitchen are amazing (swipe to see) and they all said how cute my babies were so basically it's ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ from us! When @cuttingchaiiedinburgh got in touch to offer us a meal just after the baby arrived, it felt serendipitous! I just about bit their hand off with the offer of a takeaway to review having heard only good things so far about the new Bombay Cafe on Salamander Street. It was almost certainly the best cooked meat I've had from a takeaway - all of it just melted when you were eating it - the railway lamb, the mother's butter chicken as well as the chicken wings and lamb chops. We loved the chicken 69 which are little strips of chicken in a spicy batter. We also had the lamb biryani and a garlic naan. It takes a brave restauranteur to go into a somewhat rogue location which was about to be hit with years of tram works - and @cuttingchaiiedinburgh is deservedly confident in their product that the people will come. We had no complaints and it was up there with the best Indian takeaways I've had - we'll definitely be ordering from them again and I can't wait to go and sit in one day, the restaurant looks lovely. I thought about getting the 'perfect for the gram' announcement shot and what cute outfit he should be in and then I realised this is the perfect one that sums us up - I'm knackered, make up free, ecstatic and he's sleeping in a blanket made by my granny from the ball ends of wool which is far more special than anything I could have bought ready made.
