Hidden Gem on Montefiore Road
Harrison’s of Hove is tucked away on Montefiore Road, just off Davigdor Road and is a family run good ol’ fashion cafe that’s above your Breakfast at Tiffanys but below than your Treacle & Co’s.
Ideal if you’re in Hove / Seven Dials and want to pay more than £4 but less than £8, they offer decent middle of the road grub – the above plate (the bacon of which was AMAZING) was £6 and it was all fresh tasting and well cooked 👍🏼
I’m still mourning the loss of Vanilla Pod (😭) but this might be our new local when you don’t want greasy spoon nor gourmet.
They’re dog friendly too 🐶 so Stanley approves. The boyfriend said the sausage was really good as well so it has his seal of approval – he had the full English which look comes in a variety of different sizes to suit different appetites. Their specials board, for lunches, had some really yummy sounding options so I would like to go back for lunch and try them out too.
