Bank Holiday brunch at the New Club

To start the Easter bank holiday, we ventured out into the beautiful sunshine for brunch at The New Club.

I am partial to a decent vegetarian breakfast now and then when it looks good and I knew I was going to be a total glut that weekend so I went for the vegetarian full breakfast:  Sourdough toast, tomatoes, mushrooms, crushed avo, halloumi and poached eggs 😍

The New Club occupies half of the old China Garden restaurant – it was cut in half a few years back and The New Club continues to thrive.

Very tasty and fresh ingredients, generous portions  – I would definitely recommend and, even better, I came away not feeling sluggish 🙌🏼

AAAAAND two perfect poached eggs, just look at that yolk porn:

We went there a while back when it was still quite new and I used the word ‘chaotic’ to describe the service, am pleased to report they’ve sorted their shit out and the service was on point 👏🏼

I really need to return to sample their lunch, dinner and roast – which would you recommend we try first? 💛 #theweefoodblogger
