My favourite dirty burger

We are very, very lucky and very, very unlucky to have a Grubbs at the bottom of our road. I go there a little too often.  Something of a Brighton institute – they even sell t-shirts – Grubbs is one of the go-to places for a dirty burger.

My choice, everytime, is a double beef mushroom burger: two beef patties, fried mushrooms, cheese and lettuce. I am actually drooling whilst writing this. I also order a large portion of onion rings to go with it – they are my favourite onion rings EVER, and a garlic mayonnaise. I am not sure if it’s made on site, I think it might be as the consistency of how potent it is changes every time I go there – sometimes it has so much garlic in it, it blows your head off but I am a garlic lover so the more the better!

I have to admit, I have never had any other type of burger from Grubbs, if it ain’t broke don’t fix it and my double mushroom beef burger never lets me know.

Sometimes, only a Grubbs will do.
